Marinara / Pizza Sauce

 1 Small Onion, finely chopped
 1 Small Carrot, grated
 1 tbsp Olive OIl
 1 tbsp Iron Skillet Hot Italian Seasoning
 1 tbsp Iron Skillet Salt Free Italian Seasoning
 1 796 mL/28 fl. oz can crushed tomatoes

Sweat onion and carrot in olive oil until onion is clear and sweet
(ie. saute but do not brown the vegetables)


add the rest of the ingredients, bring to a simmer and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes Stirring every few minutes.


Use as a sauce for pasta, veggies, in casseroles, on pizza etc.
